Does anyone know how advertise on the internet for free or at a low cost?
I want to start up an Internet Business that I can do. I am not interested in Network/Multi-level marketing. I have Sickle Cell Anemia and I need to do something at home. I am in the process of creating business cards to sell over the internet. These cards are Christian focused. I am also reaching royalty-free business clip-art to create business cards.
If there is anyone who could mentor me in any small-home based business, I would be very thankful. If you teach a man to fish, then he will never go hungry again. If there is anyone who can give me some advise on how to advertise on the internet. I do not have much money. If any one can give me some advice, I would be very appreciative.
Sincerely yours
Richard Anthony

Guerrilla Marketing for the Home-Based Business $3.98 American business is in the midst of cataclysmic change. Corporations, re-engineering themselves to compete in the new global marketplace, lay off millions of employees, then outsource the services they performed, often to the former employees themselves. Disillusioned employees are voluntarily leaving the corporate nest in record numbers to set up small businesses of their own. Technological advances make these tiny operations not only competitive but often the optimal provider of services for the next century. These forces have led to an exponential growth of home-based businesses. Generally, these new entrepreneurs already possess the skills necessary to bring their products and services to life. What most lack is practical knowledge of how to position and market themselves. Understandably, most do not want to be marketers; many have a downright aversion to this crucial activity. And many will fail – not because of their product, but because of failure to promote it effectively. This book can help to change that. |

Family Friendly Farming: A Multi-Generationals Home-Based Business Tesament $26.6 Saving the landscape, rebuilding entrepreneurial rural families, and protecting nutritious food are the themes of this timeless treatise-hence the word "testament." Delving into the soul of the Salatin family’s nationally acclaimed Polyface Farm, author Joel Salatin offers "Family Friendly Farming" as the key to dealing with resource issues, food policy, and social fabric. With humor and personal stories, he opens his family and farm convictions for all to see, share, and enjoy. Written from his unabashed "Christian libertarian environmentalist capitalist" perspective, his ideas are guaranteed to encourage and challenge virtually every "ism" in the culture. It will captivate anyone passionate about healing the land, healing families, and healing the food supply. For several decades young people have been leaving the family farm. The ones left behind are now responsible for society’s greatest resources: clean land and clean food. Anyone dedicated to preserving these resources will find in these pages a nongovernmental, self-empowerment approach to environmentalism and food safety. The heart of this book is aimed toward parents tired of their Dilbert cubicle at the end of the expressway who want to reconnect with their children through a pastoral lifestyle. It’s written for anyone who yearns to grow old working with and being adored by value-sharing grandchildren and honored by passionate, productive adult children. "Family Friendly Farming" can make any family business more viable and any family more functional. The ten-chapter section on how to get the kids to love the farm is an invaluable addition to any collection of child-rearing manuals. Salatin moves from the family team-buildingsection into a practical discussion on how to increase income per acre and create new, white-collar salaries without buying more land, equipment, or buildings. He deals with the unique and thorny issues surrounding any family business by using his own multi-generational family farm experience as his base for insight and wisdom. |

Gender and Home-Based Employment $137.44 Gender often influences the type of occupation that individuals choose, as well as the way they work and the outcomes of that work. Home-based employment is no different. The proximity of these workers to their families’ living activities provides an unique opportunity to study the effects of work-at-home on family interaction and the role that gender plays in this traditionally female-dominated situation. The chapters provide a range of gender considerations from the perspectives of the workers and the workers’ families, with emphasis on either the workers, the family, or the work/business. The first chapter provides an overview of the subjects being covered and defines several of the concepts used. The range of viewpoints is extensive: Chapter 2 considers home-based employment from a global perspective, while Chapter 8 narrows the focus to one particular location and type of home-based worker. Chapters 3, 4, 5, and 7 examine in various ways the data from a 9-state study, basing their analyses in theoretical and conceptual frameworks related to gender. Chapter 6 explores the dilemma of parents who have to hire child care in order to complete their home-based work. Also included are recommendations for public policy considerations. |

Many attempts to market to Christians have backfired, because the marketers had little understanding of Christians’ values, taboos, and "hot buttons." Yet the size of the opportunity is enormous. "Faith-Based Marketing" provides everything business leaders need to understand 140 million Christian consumers and effectively reach them. It explains who Christians are, what they want, and provides traditional, new media, and word-of-mouth strategies to communicate with and engage them and their churches. The book also includes a valuable directory of top Christian organizations, churches, and events, to help marketers and business leaders find out whom to contact and how. The book includes a free subscription to a companion website with bonus content. |

Beyond Integrity: A Judeo-Christian Approach to Business Ethics $40.36 Integrity is essential to Judeo-Christian business ethics. But today’s business environment is complex. Those in business, and those preparing to enter the business world, need to grapple with the question of how integrity and biblical ethics can be applied in the workplace. They need to go "beyond integrity" in their thinking.Beyond Integrity is neither excessively theoretical nor simplistic and dogmatic. Rather, it offers a balanced and pragmatic approach to a number of concrete ethical issues. Readings from a wide range of sources present competing perspectives on each issue, and real-life case studies further help the reader grapple with ethical dilemmas. The authors conclude each chapter with their own distinctly Christian commentary on the topic covered. This second edition includes recent issues that have surfaced in today’s constantly changing business culture. Revisions include: – Ethical implications of information technology, biotechnology, and other important new issues – Reflections on recent court cases that shape the moral discussion – Shorter text with increased accessibility to the reader With the goal of helping readers arrive at their own conclusions, this book provides a decision-making model. Beyond Integrity equips men and women to develop a biblically based approach to the ethical challenges of twenty-first century business. |

A Look at Christian Home School Co-Op Groups $28.94 Bill and his wife, Donna, home schooled their children, one of which was special needs, for over sixteen years and were involved in a Christian home school co-op for several of those years. This book takes a brief look at Christian home school co-op groups, although not originally intended to look just at Christian co-op groups. It is based on a two-part survey, the first part specifically about various aspects of the co-op itself. The second part of the survey was to find out information about the home schooling families that were involved in the co-op movement itself. The results were surprising in some respects, while not so surprising in others. Home schooling families not involved in a co-op, Christian or otherwise, as well as those families that are already involved will find this short book of interest and are all encouraged to pass as much information along to others after they read this material. |

ON MY WAY HOME $10.92 Within American religion today, there is confusion and chaos as people and denominations have turned away from the Bible. Without the anchor of divine truth, religion finds itself being tossed about by every new form of teaching. Liberal religionists have successfully promoted the opium that there is no absolute truth.Arge Brockles lived in that religious haze for 32 years before his salvation. From a pot washer to a pastor, he writes of his journey out of darkness and death into light and life everlasting, a transformation based solely in the authority of the Word of God.Arge Brockles was born and raised in Dallas, Texas into a prominent family both in the business world and in the Greek community. He attended Texas A&M University, class of 1952, became president of Brockles Restaurant, Inc., and vice-president of Brockles Foods Company. By the sovereign grace of God, he became a Christian in 1962 and left the family business to enter Dallas Theological Seminary. After graduating in 1968, he pastored Mesquite Bible Church before starting Northlake Bible Church in 1972, where he continues as pastor. He wrote “The Doctrines of the Sovereignty and Grace of God” in 1974, which was later translated into Greek. He is listed in The Marquis Who’s Who in America, 54th edition. He married Pauline Menos in 1952 and has two children and two grandchildren. |
